Internships

The LIEIS offers internships to students and young academics from Luxembourg, Europe and elsewhere. This program aims to offer an opportunity for students and young researchers from Luxembourg and abroad to gain practical experience for their pursuit of a career in European and international relations. For those who are supported by a research grant the Institute can also provide a platform for their research work and a possibility to gain exposure. So far, it has received some two hundred and fifty interns from a multitude of countries, about half of them from Luxembourg itself.
Length
Internships can take any length, typically from 1 up to 6 months, with the possibility of an extension.
Subject/Objective
The Institute offers internships to current students who require a placement during their academic curriculum (e.g. course requirement, Master or PhD Thesis, other research work, etc.), as well as to those students who have finished their studies and are seeking work experience in academic research in the field of European integration and/or international relations.
